Deborah's Story
Basically, I went to college for Fine Art and Photography. Then I worked for a photographer, and as a photographer shooting commercial ads and editorial photos in NYC and all around the US. Then I became a photo editor for an outdoor magazine, choosing photos for the magazine, shooting some and hiring freelance photographers around the country. I got to go out backpacking, rock climbing, sea kayaking in Alaska, you name it. It was exciting but really hard work too. (killed my knees and those maga...Expand for more
zine deadlines were amazing.) I also married my husband (we met at college) and we took our time deciding if we'd have kids or not. Now we have two kids, a son - 6, and a daughter 4. I am a stay at home mom. (A big change for me!) I will work again when they are both in school full time. For now, just freelance shoots here and there, and dreams of perhaps a web business. We've been renovating a farmhouse in PA for years now. (Those renovations never end, do they?!) Guess that's it for now! :)
